How to use this calculator

  1. Enter eligible last monthly wage (sar), continuous eligible service years, ending basis.
  2. Choose a display currency, then select Calculate. Results also update after a brief pause while you edit.
  3. Read the result with the assumptions below. Export details or save a second scenario to compare your choices.

Formula and method

Full award=monthly wage×[0.5×min(years,5)+max(years−5,0)]; ordinary resignation factors: <2 years 0, 2–5 one-third, >5–<10 two-thirds, ≥10 full.

Assumptions and limitations

Saudi Arabia; Labor Law Articles 84–87, rule snapshot reviewed 2026-10-14. Not an eligibility ruling: excluded dismissal cases, statutory resignation exceptions and disputed wage components require separate review. Enter eligible wage, not automatically basic salary. Fractions of years are proportional.

Worked example

For the sample inputs shown above, saudi end-of-service award estimate produces a first result of approximately 10500. The assumptions below explain what this result represents.
