Formula and method

Employee annual contribution=salary×employee%; match=salary×min(employee%,cap%)×match%; grow with end-year contributions.

Assumptions and limitations

No statutory401(k)/403(b)/IRA limits, vesting, taxes or wage growth; this is a plan-rule scenario, not country eligibility.

Worked example

At salary 50,000, a 6% employee contribution is 3,000. A 50% match on contributions up to 6% of salary adds 1,500. With no starting balance, no growth and ten end-year contributions, the total is (3,000 + 1,500) × 10 = 45,000. This example does not apply statutory retirement-account limits.

What the result means

Project savings with an explicitly entered employer matching formula.
